The development program at Footbridge is based around the promotion of the New Zealand Thoroughbred industry and the pursuit of knowledge in horse sport science and it's application in the training of New Zealand Thoroughbreds. Both the Renascence Treadmill and EquINFORM software packages are ready for commercial development.
Footbridge Lodge is nestled in the Bombay Hills on 20 hectares of landscaped grounds, featuring it's own Pine Forest and Lake. Built in the colonial style with wrap around verandahs and it's own wood paneled Chapel. Footbridge Lodge offers a unique all in one location for country weddings.
Footbridge Lodge offers a peaceful, relaxed country atmosphere, with it's huge open fireplace and wood paneled bar. The tastefully decorated restaurant, with expansive rural views from the verandahs can accommodate up to 90 people for formal or informal gathering
Two divisions operate at the centre. The first does research and development work in the Equine related science. The other, "Millennium Microbes", is seeking ways of reducing the reliance of chemicals in our food chain.
